Code Meal Kit is a series of gatherings aimed at generating questions about the contemporary technology culture surrounding us, which is symbolized by “code” of computer programming language for the purpose of discussing and promoting social interpretations. Each weekly Saturday workshop scheduled from July 23 until October 2, focuses on a subtheme—code as language, programming paradigm, IT myths, cultural capital, open-source, and others—that is presented as a strategy for observing, appreciating and speculating on various stereotypes of coding in relation to biased understandings of the future, function, and technology while ultimately expanding into language and culture. This workshop opens seats for 10 different participants per session and suggests different menus of virtual meal kits each week, which will allow them to make more intimate conversations. The ideas of all participants assembled through these processes will be arranged and re-produced as learning cards and reading materials after the workshops.
