He then developed the Privacy Gift Shop in 2013 as an e-commerce platform to help normalize these types of counter-surveillance ideas and push back against surveillance capitalism. Most recently he has developed a Wi-Fi geolocation spoofing device, SkyLift, that can trick phones into virtually appearing anywhere in the connected world. The summer 2018 edition of SkyLift is called “Data Pools” and is designed to relocate smartphones to the private pool locations of the 12 biggest CEOs in tech.
