The works of Jung Sang-Hyun exhibit a structure in which the world of fantasy is paralleled with the world of reality. Jung reproduces miniature TV studio-like sets which are then placed at the end of a video camera lens. Within this set, there is always a miniature door or window through which he films a variety of daily life activities. This creates an illusionary perception between his inner world and the real world beyond. The static inner world creates a sense of serenity and security in contrast to the commotion we constantly encounter.
