Seoul Mediacity Biennale 2018 has commissioned the rapper Ignito to write a new song, and Tipping Point M/V is the music video of the song titled Tipping Point. Climate change is the most serious global environmental crisis that humans face at present. The average temperature of the Earth has risen more than 1 °C already since the industrial revolution. If the human race fails to limit the increase of global average temperature to 1.5 °C until the end of this century, as agreed upon in the Paris Agreement 2015, the glaciers will rapidly decrease, and natural disasters such as extreme heat wave or severe cold, draught, flood, or typhoon will increase and the human life could face a catastrophic end. However, humans still have hope of preventing such disastrous climate change. The video work convincingly conveys the message of Ignito’s new song Tipping Point that describes the gravity and complexity of climate change problems.
