
While participating in a DMZ tunnel tour, which is seen as a lingering scar between North and South Korea as well as a symbol of regional security politics, the artist imagines Mago Halmi (Mago Grandma), the goddess of creation in Korean mythology, making a pan pipe and tapping on the tunnel. With her right foot immersed in the West Sea and left foot in the East Sea, what happens if Mago Halmi awakens the spirits of the earth by playing her tunnel instrument day and night, and what can be done to stop her?
