Dennis Feser

Dennis Feser works on the borderlines of performance, video, costume and sculpture. For his pieces, he develops physical extensions of the body that strangely oscillate between clothing, prosthesis and sculpture-like tumors and that explore patterns of identity and the idea of the natural in an ironic and neurotic way. Feser develops his work in long, serial repetitions in front of a camera and in his videos often concentrates happenings, which took place over a period of several days, into rhythmic montages.
