Heonik Kwon is a social anthropologist interested in Cold War history. Having previously taught anthropology at the University of Edinburgh and the London School of Economics, he is currently Senior Research Fellow in Social Science and Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. In 2013-2014, he has been a university visiting professor at the College of Social Sciences, Seoul National University. Author of several prize-winning books, he has completed an intimate history of the Korean War. His new writing project deals with the plurality of Cold War memories in East Asia.
