Wilson Diaz is an artist based in Cali, Colombia. Diaz’s practice includes music, painting, performance art, photography, and video. In his works is informed by the complex sociopolitical context of his native country. In capturing intimate moments and tracing complex constellations of human and political influence, his art offers persuasive alternative to conventional perceptions shaped by ideology and propaganda. Diaz is member of Helena Producciones, a grassroots collective formed in 1998.
