The SeMA-Hana Media Art Award was established in 2014 with the support of Hana Financial Group to enhance the recognition of contemporary art and expand its appreciation in Korean society. Awarded at each Seoul Media City Biennale, it is given to selected artists who demonstrate new artistic visions and contributions to media art. The award includes a trophy and prize money, determined through a jury process evaluating participating artists.
