This event is a program connected to Hapjungjigu’s web-based project The Personal Stories Project (2020–).

Produced for the 11th Seoul Mediacity Biennale, the web-based The Personal Stories Project (2020–) invites current and past Hapjunjigu collaborators to respond to a series of questions about daily routines, artmaking, pressing concerns, and community. Shared on the project’s website, these responses reflect the relationships and networks that have supported Hapjungjigu over the last seven years. As such, the project is an opportunity for Hapjungjigu to take stock of their past and imagine their future while also channeling the disruption caused by the current global pandemic into an ongoing exchange with other arts practitioners.
