Seo Dongjin is professor of Intermedia Art at Kaywon University of Art and Design. He is a member of the editorial committee for Marxism 21 and Economy and Society. In recent years, he has written about visual art and performance. He is the author of books such as After the contemporaneity: time, experience, and image (2018), The will to freedom, the will to self-empowerment (2009).
