Human evolution relies on the discovery and development of tools and machinery, and yet we tend to deny our inevitable relationship with machinery. Yang Min-Ha’s A Garden imitates the man-made natural environment. He places man-made and naturally made objects in the same environment and encourages viewers to discover ourselves in relation to machinery and nature.
