
The work calls on the prior hanging piece, Asymmetric Love, which plays with the duality of function. It is a reflection of our current digital infrastructure, as the ability and knowledge to monitor others is defining the hierarchy of power; in this way surveillance is like capitalism. The work mimics an iconic baroque chandelier. It attempts to be perceived as something familiar in memory by the audience so that the details of the microphones and cameras gazing onto them are overlooked.
