Ramirez Jonas’s work reveals processes of innovation by presenting prototypes and their variations. His work bridges historical gaps between original inventions and their modern interpretations, such as using reconstructed Edison-style wax cylinders to record Apollo 11 flight communications. A connected digital clock displays random numbers; when it reaches zero, it activates a compressed air pump that creates sound using instruments strewn on the floor, transforming almost every moment into a celebration.
