Taking off the Shadow

2000

In a circular space 6.5m wide that blocks external light, a 1000w light bulb installed in the center rotates and illuminates the wall, which is coated with phosphorescent pigment. This artwork utilizes the principle of luminous materials that absorb light and emit it in darkness, creating overlapping time zones and providing visitors with a new way to recognize their shadows, which they casually encounter in daily life.
