The performance piece (No) Time challenges the conventional view of time as a linear progression from past to future and explores alternative possibilities such as queer and minority temporalities. In the video, four performers each appear on screen to dance in different genres such as contemporary dance, hip hop, drag performance, and dancehall. Variously dancing alone, in pairs, and in other combinations, the dancers come to embody the possibilities for different genres to coexist together on stage. Similarly, techniques such as out-of- sync movement, extreme slow motion, and complete stillness suggest the coexistence of multiple flows of time. Along with the actual blinds installed over the screen projection, the automatic doors and window blinds featured in the video move in sync with the performers, casting into doubt the demarcations between stage and video, or even performance and audience.
