Elisa Giardina Papa’s work investigates gender, sexuality, and labor in relation to neoliberal capitalism and technology. Her work has been exhibited and screened at MoMA, New York, 2013; Whitney Museum, New York, 2017; XVI Quadriennale di Roma, Rome, 2016; Unofficial Internet Pavilion of 54th Venice Biennial, Venice, 2011; rhizome.org, 2016; Haus für elektronische Künste, Basel, 2011; and more. She is currently pursuing a PhD in media and film studies at UC Berkeley and received an MFA from RISD.
