Jeremy Millar

Jeremy Millar, co-curator of escape, is an artist and curator living in Whitstable, England. He curated The Institute of Cultural Anxiety-Works from the Collection (ICA, London, 1994), Speed (Whitechapel Art Gallery and The Photographers’ Gallery, both London, 1998), and Boris Mikhailov 2000, also at The Photographers’ Gallery, where he was program organizer from 1995 until this year. Millar’s publications include Confessions (London: Book Works, 1995), Airport, co-edited with Steven Bode (London: The Photographers’ Gallery, in association with the Nederlands Foto Instituut, Rotterdam, and the Netherlands Design Institute, Amsterdam, 1997), and Speed-Visions of an Accelerated Age, co-edited with Michiel Schwartz (London: Whitechapel Art Gallery and The Photographers’ Gallery, 1998).
