Jieun Cho is a member of the visual research band ikkibawiKrrr. Her artistic practice explores a diverse range of themes, encompassing migration, community, trees, and remnants through multifaceted perspectives, approaches, and various media. Additionally, she occasionally creates comics. Her works were included in exhibitions such as the 14th Gwangju Biennale, Gwangju (2023); Documenta 15, Lumbung, Ottoneum, Kassel (2022); Things Entangling (2020), the culmination of a long-term curatorial collaboration between MOT and KADIST showcased at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in Japan; as well as Moving & Migration exhibited at the Gyeonggi Museum of Modern Art in Ansan-si, South Korea (2019); Korea Artist Prize, MMCA, Seoul (2016); Cosmopolis #1: Collective Intelligence, Centre Pompidou, Paris (2017); Sharjah Biennale 12, The Past, the Present, the Possible, Sharjah, UAE (2015); nnncl&mixrice, Atelier Hermès, Seoul (2013); and 7th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, Gallery of Modern Art, South Brisbane, Australia (2012); among others.
