Ki-Hyun Jung majored in fine arts at Universität der Künste Berlin and studied at Deutsche Film-und Fernsehakademie Berlin. He held 12 solo exhibitions in Germany and Korea, including his first solo show titled Schwarzkopf (Berlin, 1997) and his most recent show Open Your Mind (Seoul, 2017). He curated diverse projects in Korea, including Transmission (Seoul, 2010), Art Coop Project (Gyeonggido area, 2013), Golden Mountain Project (Ansan, 2015), Something Unknown (Okgwa, 2015), and Sungam-gil: A Road of Sungam Stories (Ansan, 2016). Selected group exhibitions are Looking Abroad (Corcoran Gallery, Washington D.C., 1997), Und ab die Post (Berlin, 2000), and the Gwangju Biennale (Gwangju, 2006).
