Kim Yongeon

Kim Yongeon graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Yonsei University and completed an interdisciplinary graduate program in Comparative Literature at the same university. He has worked as a journalist for several film magazines, including Kino, Film 2.0, and Cine21. He also served as chief editor of the genre fiction magazine Fantastic and as head of the book review section, “Pressian Books,” at the online news outlet Pressian. He is currently preparing to launch a new media platform specializing in mystery fiction. His translations include On the Fantasy You Should Abandon Once You’re Grown by Nora Ephron and On Conan Doyle by Michael Dirda (2013). He is also the author of Crime Fiction (2012) and co-author of If We Read Fairy Tales Again (2014).
