mixrice

In its works, mixrice (Cho Ji Eun and Yang Chul Mo) has examined the diverse traces, processes, routes, results, and memories created by situations that face increasing “immigration.” The group is currently working on unexpected situations and contexts that are created by the influx of immigration along with the relocation and evolution of plants, consequences of colonialism, through photographs, videos, and cartoons. The selected group exhibitions are Cosmopolis-Collective Intelligence (Paris, 2017), the 12th Sharjah Biennale’s The Past, the Present, the Possible (Sharjah, 2015), nnncl & mixrice (Atelier Hermès, Seoul, 2013), and the Asia Pacific Triennial (Brisbane, 2012).
