Zero Space began as an art and design group established in Changsin-dong, Seoul in 2011, and turned into a social enterprise as the group completed diverse regionally based projects. In 2014, they developed various projects in collaboration with people of small businesses throughout the region, especially to improve the regional industry through the development of zero-waste design items, which led to the creation of a network of sewing factories. Additionally, they have engineered CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and CSV (Creating Shared Value) projects with diverse corporations. Selected projects and exhibitions include the H-village (collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company) and with weft, weft warp (Seoul Museum of Art, 2018) and New Public Design (Culture Station Seoul 284, Seoul, 2017). Shin Yunye, the representative of the group, was shortlisted on the Asia Pacific Region sector of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award.
