Kwon Jin

Kwon is a contemporary art researcher and curator. Between 2021-2025, she has served as project director of Seoul Mediacity Biennale organized by Seoul Museum of Art and supervised twelfth and thirteenth editions. She previously held positions at ARKO Art Center and the 4th Anyang Public Art Project (APAP). Her curatorial and publishing credits at Seoul Museum of Art include Nalgae.PaTI (2017), a solo exhibition of Ahn Sang-soo; Working for the Future Past (2017-2018), an exhibition of South American contemporary art; gohyang: home (2019-2020), an exhibition of Middle Eastern contemporary art; and LEE BUL Beginning (2021), an exhibition documenting Lee Bul’s earlier endeavor. Her recent essays include “Letting the Mountain Move into the Garden” in Kang Seung Lee (Gallery Hyundai, 2024) and “About Hearing the Sound of Letter Works” in Munjabanya (Ahn Graphics, 2024).
