This work combines 152 portrait photographs originally shot as screen tests for television commercials, which the artist edits into 10-frame segments. The freeze frame in each scene represents an agreed-upon sign used in cinematography. Beyond proposing a formal exploration of the relationship between photography and film, the artwork imaginatively reconstructs idealized family images, encourages emotional engagement, and creates space to capture everyday emotions that tend to be overlooked.
