Gillick’s work explores relationships of social hierarchies and power structures, creating spaces for dialogue and exchange between distinctly defined boundaries. The museum lobby serves as one such space, where he presents two new works. Envisioning a corporate-like setting, the artist designs banners and text, then collaborates with manufacturers in Seoul for their installation. This very process exposes yet another cycle of power relations and dependencies.
