Hong Cheolki created a spherical polyhedron video sculpture, which corresponds to Lee Kyuchul’s Space and Perception by projecting his video Near Hear inside the work. The video gazes on peripheral spaces such as warehouses, pantries, boiler rooms, and corners of corridors that are always present in our surroundings but which resist closer “seeing”. The attic space where this work is situated also contrasts with the heterogeneous style of the Nam-Seoul Museum of Art, like the inner surface of a dark and unknown building.
