The 12th Seoul Mediacity pre-Biennale I *Station* Poster, 2022. Design: Mabasa (Mano An, Jeeseop Kim)

The 12th Seoul Mediacity pre-Biennale was held from July 21 2022 to January 29, 2023, at the Seoul Museum of Art, Nam Seoul Museum of Art and 8 other cultural venues in Seoul. In advance of the upcoming edition, the pre-Biennale collected and comprehended the resources of past Biennale involved thoroughly compiling data in order to establish an overview of the contents. The documentation has been gathered and published online and offline in the form of the book Seoul Meiacity Biennale 1996-2022 Report, and has expanded as a continuation of the data contained therein in a form of exhibition entitled Station (2021.7.21.~2023.1.29.) at Nam-Seoul Museum of Art. Terrainforming (2022.12.10.~11.) as a second part of the pre-Biennale, forecast the ideas, ways of understanding, artistic practices and aesthetics of the project to come at Seoul Musuem of Art.
