This performance video documentation unfolds like a black-and-white drawing, revealing dark-clothed figures and the traces they leave amid a snow-covered wilderness. Filmed near the Arctic Ocean in Finland, the work creates spaces of movement that transform into “lines,” “arrows,” and “squares.” The human figures, perceived as lines, converge into a single entity and create patterns like migrating ducks, sometimes ending up as approximations of organized military units. While individuals come together to form a community, they simultaneously represent a landscape of migrants who wander without a permanent settlement.
