Anne-Marie Duguet is professor at the U.F.R. d’Arts Plastiques et Sciences de Art at the University of Paris 1 (Pantheon-Sorbonne), where since 1992, she has headed the Research Center in Aesthetics of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (C.R.E.C. A. A.). As an independent curator, Duguet has organized a number of exhibitions, including Jean-Christophe Averty-collages, decoupages (Espace Electra, Paris, 1991) and Thierry Kuntzel (Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume, Paris, 1993), and co-curated the Biennale Artifices (St.Denis, 1994, 1996). An art critic and member of AICA, Duguet is the author of several publications, including Video, la memoire au poing (Paris: Hachette, 1981), Jean-Christophe Averty (Paris: DisVoir, 1991), and articles on television, video, and new technologies. She is the director of anarchives, a series of CD-ROMs produced with artists, and co-author, with Antonio Muntadas, of the Media-Architecture-Installations, anarchive NO.1, (Paris: Centre Georges Pompidou, 1999).
