Since his first solo exhibition in 1992, Kang Hong-Goo has activated topics related to Korean modernity through an artistic language that records various landscapes in the process of being forgotten. His signature aesthetic is distinguished by manipulating photos, either by adding colors or digitally compositing multiple images, as seen in major works including Landscape of Oshoeri (2004), Mickey’s House (2005–2006), Sarazida-A record of Eunpyung New Town (2009), THE HOUSE (2010), and Study of Green (2012). He participated in media_city seoul 2002 Luna’s Flow (2002).
