Moon, Joo’s work involves adding another reality to the image that is the essence of intellectual virtual image. In this work, the artist tries to make an image which is a reality, not a virtual image, by applying the interrelationship between the displaying device and the image that can be secured by a mechanical device that ensures such display. In a sense, the work seems to raise the question·· ‘Can we really regard the world here and now as the sole reality?’··by drawing the vision and criticism of the unreality of cyber space into the real world. It is also a work that raises that same banal philosophical question; ‘What does reality mean to a human being?’
