siren eun young jung is interested in how the craving desires of anonymous individuals encounter the events of the world and how such encounters become resistance, history, or politics. Since 2008, jung has been producing a number of works under the Yeosung-Gukgeuk (women’s korean musical) Project, which led the artist to be awarded the Hermès Foundation Missulang in 2013. jung has had three solo exhibitions including Rehearsal (2010) and has participated in a number of group exhibitions and festivals in both Korea and abroad.
