Takehito Koganezawa works with video, drawing, installation and performance—treating each as an equal means of expression. All of his works share a poetic approach to everyday occurrences and observation, an engagement with the issues of time and the void, as well as an underlying musicality. Koganezawa has been living in Berlin since 1999. He has exhibited internationally at institutions such as Haus am Waldsee, Germany; Langen Foundation, Germany; Mori Art Museum, Japan; Marugame Genichiro-Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art (MIMOCA), Japan; Museu de Arte Moderna São Paulo, Brazil; Hamburger Kunsthalle, Germany; Institute for Contemporary Art, London; and Haunch of Venison, London.
