SMB09 NewsG broadcasting

This is an NewsG broadcasting related to Under Momentum, a performance by participating artist Alice Sheppart, presented on September 4, 2016, in the courtyard of the Seoul Museum of Art as part of NERIRI KIRURU HARARA, SeMA Biennale Mediacity Seoul 2016. Using movement, Alice Sheppard attends to the complex intersectionsof race, gender and disability by ecploring the societal, cultural and political normalcy. Under Momentum was staged on Sara Hendren’s project Slope: Intercept, which transforms access ramps into an active and dynamic platform. Sheppard uses the wheelchair as a part of her body to express the joy and beauty brought up by life of free movement.
