Subway corridors are places to pass through. But passengers sometimes want places to rest. The artworks installed there should be fresh and pleasant. It is not desirable to put structures in underground stations that are merely stimulating, shocking, or built without consideration for their surroundings. These should be the conditions for installing structures in subway stations. The basic premise of this work is to show working men and women, without eliciting any tension for viewers. The artist presents images of working circumstances through the use of color, size, and distance. These images have been created with the intention of inspiring viewers to meditate on their own lives. In this process, the artist acknowledges the possibility of images being coded, the possibility of delivering the meanings of the images, and the possibility of color playing a subsidiary role in supporting the encoded images.
