Kim Haemin is engaged in media works that distinguish and gain insight into the relationship between video and reality by exploring the characteristics of media and their connection to human visual and perceptual senses. As one of the early media artists in South Korea, he has consistently presented his works since the mid-1980s. He has held eight solo exhibitions, including ‘Bang!’ (Arario Museum, 2016), and participated in numerous group exhibitions. He has also participated in residencies at Selk Kunstlerhaus (Germany, 1992) and Samsung Museum of Art Woonni Atelier (Seoul, 2000).
