PAST FUTURISMS is the second roundtable of the 12th Seoul Mediacity Biennale, THIS TOO, IS A MAP. In this session, moderated by Associate Curator Sofía Dourron, artists Agustina Woodgate, Chan Sook Choi, Francois Knoetze, Fyerool Darma, Nolan Oswald Dennis, Ximena Garrido-Lecca, and Yun Choi shared their practices based on mediations of coding, scavenging, reclaiming, remixing, and exchanging over time, space, and ancestries. The roundtable focused on movements and ecologies of aesthetics, global technologies, and scientific developments to visualize the exploitation of peoples and territories, the marginalization of epistemologies and cultures across time and space, and the coded mappings of data and infrastructure.
