Geologic Techno: Dance with the Earth Beat is a workshop where you can learn street dancing to the sound of techno music made of seismic waves from remote places. The music, created by converting inaudible earthquake waves data into sounds, is an infinite extension of physicality that allows you to virtually experience a specific place and environment. This series of workshops presents ways of understanding and exploring ways to move your body to the music which lead to a more active listening experience. Consisting of five sessions, the workshops begin with an introduction on the understanding of earthquakes and are followed by movement and costume making workshops. In a final live event, open to the public, the participants share their learning experiences.

Andeath is a visual artist who works on her hypothesis of tracking the earth-making history by baking and experiments with geologic baking. Along with baking, she curates and presents geologic music and hiking programs such as Geologic Bakery (2019-2021), Bread-Mountain-Star Expedition (2020).

Juhye Ko has been dancing as a freestyle street dancer for 21 years. She crosses the boundaries between genres by exploring movements that fit the sound regardless of genre. She also runs the dance studio Noksari dance club, exploring new possibilities of street dance in collaboration with artists from various fields.

Seoungjun Park received a doctorate in seismology from Yonsei University's Department of Earth Systems Science and is currently a research professor at Yonsei University's Natural Science Institute. He has conducted studies in Seismological studies, earthquake detection, earthquake instruments and historical seismic characteristics, earthquake-induced earthquakes, volcanic earthquakes, background earthquake noise, and earthquake disasters, and is currently studying micro-earthquake activity and earthquake-induced faults.

Xannex is a member of Hexa Records and a techno DJ in Seoul. He worked as a resident DJ at Vurt, the beginning of the Seoul Techno Club, and has been performing steadily at various other techno clubs and festivals. SCOPAVIK, Korea's leading techno label/podcast, released his EP containing remixes of world-class deep techno artists such as Refracted, Evigt Mörker, Pharaoh & Yogg, and Pris. He has released his works with overseas labels and podcasts.

ZEEMEN is a techno DJ and producer from HEXA RECORDS and is active in Seoul-based techno clubs and festivals. In addition to music, he works as a photographer, and in 2021, he held the exhibition Moment of Light at Club Vurt, which expresses the movement of light and the sea, and released Ambient Techno tracks made with the title of the same name as cassette tapes. As part of the series Moment of Light, “Alchemy on the Rocks” (2023) was released at Club Batonbrut on tape.
