제12회 서울미디어시티비엔날레 《이것 역시 지도》의 첫 프로그램인 라운드테이블은 작가들을 한 자리에 모아 소개합니다. 첫 번째 세션의 작가들은 사운드, 설치, 직물, 조각, 회화, 퍼포먼스, 비디오 등 다양한 영역에서 활동하며, 각각의 비영토적 지도 그리기에 관한 다양한 생각과 적용 방식을 소개합니다. 작가들은 인간의 전지구적 이주와 디아스포라, 상호 세대간의 흔적들, 생태학에 관한 다양한 개념을 등에 관한 각자의 작품을 소개하고, 비엔날레 예술 감독과의 대화 및 청중과의 질의응답 시간이 이어집니다.
As a kick-off to SMB12’s programs, this roundtable brings together a range of its participating artists. The artists in the first panel work in sound, installation, textile, sculpture, painting, performance, and video, each geared towards different ideas and applications of non-territorial mapping. Touching on topics ranging from human and earthly migrations and diasporas, intergenerational imprints, and various concepts of ecology, the participating artists make brief presentations of their work, followed by a conversation with Artistic Director Rachael Rakes and Q&A with the audience.
