Sanna Almajedi introduces SMB13 Sound Room

This is a video documentation featuring Sanna Almajedi, the Sound Room & Performance Curator of the 13th Seoul Mediacity Biennale Séance: Technology of the Spirit, introducing the Biennale’s Sound Room. Located in Unit 325 of NAKWON SANGGA throughout the duration of SMB13, the Sound Room is conceived as a portal to other worlds. Dedicated to sound art and experimental music, this special section of the Biennale conjures the uncanny sensation of hearing the dead through recording devices, the divinatory potential of radio, and the ability of experimental music to move us beyond our bodies and the worlds we inhabit.
